Ashburton Street Sprints is an event run by the Ashburton Car Club in New Zealand every Mothers day weekend in May.
The event has been running for 30 years and 2019 celebrated its anniversary.
Its undoubtedly the most hotly contested clubsport level event in the South Island bringing out the fastest turbo 4wd cars.
This is my second track using RTB and starting to get the hang of it. There are a shit load of haybales and i spent way too much time recreating the pits with everyones cars.
The track starts at the pit lane entry and does 2 laps before finishing adjacent to the pit lane. Follow the AI lines to learn the track or add an opponent for a quick race and follow where they go.
If you get sick of the wrong way warnings just delete the file in the AI folder. Its due to the nature of the up and back style of event as opposed to a circuit or hillclimb.
Create a new folder in your tracks folder called Ashburton
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\Ashburton
Open the ashburton.zip file and drop the unzipped files into your new folder and its ready to go.
