Long time silence. But maybe this is a good reason to break it? Recently, this video showed up:
It explains the entire process of creating and using a custom skin/livery in Assetto Corsa Competizione. It seems that it's a feature introduced for the SRO Competition and limited to those taking part in it. The way it reached public domain.. is a bit grey. Therefore the author of the video decided to retract the link for the skin templates from the video. It is still possible to skin without the templates but.. it's like shooting in the dark. Some say that with some google-fu, the templates can still be found on the web.
It's a small step (and maybe the only one?) towards modding in ACC, but making a custom skin is still very rewarding exercise. And a way to express oneself. I hope Kunos will reconsider, and officially support this in the near future.
