QUESTION Blender to SDK-Editor error: Graphics of textures to high

Hi,
I'm new at modding and using the SDK Editor. Im having trouble with using large image files in the SDK-editor and dont know how to proceed. Is there a way to improve the resolution of the editor or do i need to change my textures. If someone can help me then I'd be really greatfull.

Context:
I want to create a track with blender and GIS data. I used CityJson as base for the model in blender. for textures I used a big tif. file to project over the entire map.

Problem:
When importing the .fbx I get the error message. After a little checking it appears that the resolution of my picture as texture is to high or big. Its important for the project that i keep max resolution for the project.

Hi.

Not sure how your file actually look, but any single mesh should not comprise more that cca. 35k-ish verts (the limitation is 65k values, but that comprises everything). If it's bigger than that, you need to split it.

For textures, don't know what the upper limit is, but with 8k you should be fine (16k maybe loads as well, idk). If it's bigger than that, maybe split it.
And they need to be png (ok, for testing), and dds for final export (helps with performance, afaik).
