QUESTION [CAR Modding] Ai

Hi everyone, i have a quick question: I have a mod which is made from scratch by the author (i legally bought it) and its more than fine but (for me) the AI looks slow, if i start from the back of the field, at maximum difficulty level i can overtake them so easily and in few laps i have more than 10 seconds of gap on them which not happens with other mods.

There's a way to make the AI more faster? Maybe by editing the data folder in some way? I asked to the author but i never received an answer to my question.

Thanks in advance :)

Does it happen on any track ? If not, then the problem might be the AI line for the specific track you are using.

Also, is AI level set on 100% ?

Yep, is happen on other tracks too, and on kunos ones (at least last time i tried to race against the AI).

Yes, i only play with 100% AI setting, never ever lower than the max value

1/ .... Maybe... But... i don't think so ahahaha
2/ Let's see if he can find a solution, i really like this mod, but is impossibile to do a championship if i win with no difficulties all the races XD

Thanks for your help anyway, much apreciated

Have to say, I haven't had a whole lot of luck making AI fast either. I can get them moving if they are broken, but fast is another kettle of fish. All my mods seem on the slow side.

The theory is to use the AI app, let AI take over your car (ctrl+C is the shortcut, though I think you need to turn autogears on first which is ctrl+G). You can then tweak the values live and see how they affect the AI driver, can give then hints etc if they are braking too soon for example.
