How can I animate a suspension?

I have a kartocross from 3 years ago, since the suspensions are visible, I would like to animate the spring and its front part. I use Blender, I was looking for a tutorial, but I can't find anything related to that, I know that in 3dmax it is possible

Sorry mate, I am not very experienced in Blender, in fact I just started learning it, but I know there is a 3dsmax import plugin for blender, you can import sample max files from SDK directory (there are some) and reverse engineer them, but I am not sure whether the plugin can import animations as well... Most likely not... But the setup will be there, just keyframes will be missing. What is important to learn from the files when dealing with animations for AC is pivot point location and local axes orientation and hierarchy.

If you would like to try it, the procedure will be very similar to the 3dsmax, Blender has "skin" modifier as well, that one you would need for springs, then everything else like animating dummies will be the same, just adding keyframes where needed. What can be a little dificult in blender will be the local axis orientation, In 3dsmax you can display pivot point and move it as you need, I don't know how to do it in blender.

Maybe it would be worth to get 3dsmax or find someone with 3dsmax who can do it for you.
