For a long time now, i have wanted to add custom clipping posts for my drift tracks but have no idea how to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Basically im looking to model a simple thin, rectangular cube, have it anchored to a pivot point at its base and it have collision enabled so when its struck it bounces down and returns when its clear. I also dont want it to disturb the car so like, a lil bit of physics, just enough to collide if that makes sense..

Thats not possible with this game engine, meaning.. you hit the post, its flying

I don't know if your entirely accurate about that. The reason I say that is because I've seen a video where xfab had a smoke emitter and when he drove over it, the smoke was deflected by a defined clipping plane

maybe grassfx with a texture of the colliding posts would be the closest thing to what he wants

Smoke and collideable objects are 2 wildly different things.
Your 100% right, there's no question about that. I was trying to say maybe it's not entirely as impossible as we originally thought. On another note, Is there anyway to set custom triggers based off location?
