QUESTION How to add trees quickly

Hello I am on my first project and I want to make a large forest and a lot of trees. I learned about blocktransform with KStree nominations... but the only thing is that it's really long to put tree by tree.
I'm on blender if anyone has a tip to add trees quickly otherwise I'll continue by hand, but it would be nice even for the next creator...

I have already tried with the particle system. Then make them real instance but after the export, I have trees which are added and which are all black with marked FBX_MATERIAL.

I don't understand very well but I have lots of other trees of the same size that are added to kseditor and that cannot be seen on blender and that are all black.

I also have no Blocktransform on this tree that is added so I have more than 1,000 different groups, but I have only one Blocktransform with the trees which works and which is visible on blender.

Great I'll try it in the afternoon, and we have to rename them or it can work without because on my side what appeared was all together without any renaming

just showed the naming scheme because you said something about it ....

if blocktransofrms are generated, then all good!

i put it there bc of the 65k verts mesh limit
ah right if there are too much trees in a group it might exceed the 65k mesh limit? idk

each group gets combined by ksEditor into one single mesh, yes, actually i dont know how much trees you can have in a group, but i would go below 65k in vertcount to be save

I will try with different group containing the same materials, I looked there were 120,000 tops for 5,000 trees

For future people who will see this discussion here are the steps
Created a mesh/grass field...
Add to this mesh a particle system
then add an object so your Kstree tree...
add a maximum of 1000 trees per group
then render the real instances of your mesh (terrain)
and change relationships (see conversation above)
if you want more duplicated your first tree in the noman kstreegroup "A1" "A2"...
And for each different group follow the same steps
