Hey, I imported my model from 3dsmax to ksEditor and nothing really happens, the car is not showing at all i dont know if its because of lack of textures to this car(how do i make them or download for BMW E38?). I am really getting frustrated.

What size is your fbx file. If you open your fbx file in your modelling program does the model show up fine? Have you tried to move the camera in sdk (arrow keys, press control for faster movement).

Hi Guys,

I'm really stumped. I followed the tutorial for you're first car. But it wont load into game? I instead then tried to load the original formula K car in (works fine) so I saved over the kn5 files with mine keeping everything else the same, wont load. So I've downloaded the files coming with the first car tutorial, which also dont load in game however it does look better in ks editor, mine looks odd and hard to see.

Anyone had similar issues?

Did you by any chance missed this part ?

PS:
I have attached the complete folder for the above project. It only misses the bank file, due to its size. If you want to run it in-game, you just need to copy the bank file from the cobra and rename it to acm_tutorial_basic.bank (the GUIDs is already prepared for this car). Why this car ? It had the smallest bank file .

PPS: the sample car will run in-game. But not in Showroom (which requires additional dummies).

I did at first But noticed when I was checking through the folder structure. so the tutorial car is all fine in the menu but when trying to start a race it kicks me out to track selection etc.

Then you should post logs.

But you've most probably missed something in the instructions, since many have tried the sample car and it works very well.

No logs have been created, but you were 100% right my bad added a . at the end of the bank file many thanks, now to try again with my model
