QUESTION ksEditor Poly Limit

I'm making a mod and the model i've got of it is pretty high poly, i've tried putting it into kseditor and after the 2 ish hours of it loading a bunch of notifications came up saying that different parts of the model have too many triangles and that the maximum is 60000 (around that). i've tried separating the parts of my model into several different pieces but i don't get what else there is for me to do since giving the model less triangles makes it look nowhere near as good, so what i was wondering was, is there a way for the triangle limit in ksEditor to be bypassed and if not, what should i do to be able to import my model into AC

A single mesh object should not have more than 64k tris, you should stay below 48k though...
you can just cut objects (in Blender its called "separate", P) to have less tris per mesh object, so a bit like a puzzle

this is what i have done already but has not helped much, i have divided my main body in nearly half and divided each half in 4 so the main body is now in 8 pieces and it is still too much. so should i just keep separating the mesh until it is under 48k tris?
