Hi,
I know this is a common problem.
Usually you should not use the mirror tool in 3ds max or your object will have flipped normals in ksEditor and Showroom. Still there are parts that just cannot be turned by hand. Is there any way to make them visible in ksEditor again?
- I tried resetting the XForm
- I also used the Normal
- I selected backface culling
The only thing I can manage to do is to flip them again but then they are always darker. Like I won't be able to look through them anymore but they are just darker in texture. Is there any solution to this problem?
Thanks and Best Regards
Maybe just to edit it:
For some objects mirror - reset XForm - Normals with (Flip) works and I get the correct colors. But then there are some that won't work. Like I'm mirroring a whole group of about 30 parts now, they are all polys, and I'm doing every operation on them at once. Still some objects will either be dark or you can look through them...
