QUESTION Tree nightmare with blender and kseditor

Hi there, first of all sorry for my poor english.

I'm trying my best to find a way to make a tree visible on both sides.

Currently I use Blender, and yes, I am learning while building my track, the thing is, 2d Trees are not a big deal, but when I try to make an y-shape tree in blender, it has been impossible to make it visible on all sides.

Does any body know how to make an y-shape tree? I mean, I can do it, but I know that something is missing.

I've tried almost everything, mirror modifier, x shapes and so on...

P.S. Yes i've read all the tutorials but I can't find the correct way to get both sides of the tree visible in kseditor.

Thank for your help,
Giikah

I use a dual screen.
I have blender open and look at ks editor on smaller screen.

I can see which faces arent visible.

Select the face of the side you want to mirror ( make sure you are in face selection and not vertex or edge)

Press SHIFT + D to duplicate the face

Then WITHOUT MOVING IT press the LEFT mouse button to place it in the same place.

Press ALT + N and select "flip" to mirror image on that face.

It should be visible on both sides now. Repeat for all faces you can see to show on the other side of the Y tree that are invisible.

Credit to fughettaboutit for that one. I had the same problem.

make sure you have "Auto Merge" off when using Shift+D or you may not get what you want...
