QUESTION Why are cars turning in so slowly on my custom track?

First track build, complete newbie - having trouble figuring out why cars are so slow to turn in with full steering lock on my basic track, compared to every other track, any ideas? thanks

AI line looks ok through that section?

I don't have AI line data setup yet. Would that have an effect on the steering though?

Do you have any help/assist enabled? I think those rely on an AI line
