First you create the hierarchy of the empty already scaled and positioned, then insert the meshes inside
Yes, I just did that. Created 1 meter empties, aligned each to its respective wheel, made the parenting... same result. It looks good in the showroom, but in game... chaos. :(

you have any empty or incorrect scales on them.
if you want send the fbx and the fbx.ini with the texture folder and if I can I look at it

You mean the car folder as it is installed in the game?
Yes, the folder you installed in the game, because I think you have deleted many empties and without the mod it can't work, also because it should have animations at the suspensions, instead now the empties don't exist in this one you sent me

The empties are there in the fbx, I imported the fbx and they´re there. Anyways, I attach the folder:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1laIU7EybwLr_vblTK23_sK2XJp7R8-cZ/view?usp=sharing
your fbx is image number 1, the original fbx i extracted from the game folder you sent me is number 2.
as you can see all the empty are missing to make the mod and suspensions work correctly, the empty ones I am talking about are circled in red.
the only empties you have kept are those of the wheels (circled in green).
so the mod can't work.

I have no idea why you extracted the fbx and made changes, I don't know what you wanted to get \ modify, but you probably deleted a lot of fundamental hierarchy for the mod, with your fbx you can't have a working mod basically.

I duplicated the indycar mod folder then inserted my own kn5+collision mesh. The mod works, only thing is the wheels are misplaced for some reason. Following the tutorial that´s what I did. In fact the car loads and run normally.

Yes, of course, the car loads and works, but besides the wheels out of place, the suspension doesn't work either .. My question was this: why didn't you use the original mod? what did you want to achieve different from the original mod?

I´m not sure what do you mean with "the original mod". I followed the tutorial, took the formula K as indicated and did all the steps. It´s made from scratch.
After trying to make it work I decided to use another car´s files just to try another direction. But besides that, neither the formulaK or Indy worked at all.
EDIT: If I understand well, would you say it´s better to pick, let´s say, the indy, extract the fbx, replace the car mesh and rearrange the empties?

I´m having a similar problem. Everything in Blender is as it should be, I followed all the steps and recommendations, the car in the showroom looks ok, but if I apply the values I get a mess, the wheels are totally out of place and the drivers is way backwards.
I also followed all the tips I´ve found, changing the values manually in the showroom, but I can´t find a way to apply those changes to the game model, neither found the way to fix the driver position, and it´s driving me crazy to the point I´m thinking in dismiss the project, because I can´t find any useful information at all anywhere that works. Any indication you can give about this?

EDIT: I can share the Blender scene if that helps.
If you just want to fix the position of the wheels in your car you have to do this:
1. Open Content Manager and in the "auto content" tab select the mod with the wheels out of position.

2. At the bottom of the screen now select "folder" and the car folder will open for you.

3. Unzip and delete the "data.acd" file and open the "data" folder you got.

4. Open the "car.ini" file and keep it open.

5. Now in Content Manager open "CMshowroom".

6. In the Menu, click the "car parameters" tab (the car icon).

7. In the "Wheels" section, check "Align using data"

(you will now be able to see in real time the changes you will make to the data in the.ini files)

8. Now keep your car in the showroom on one side of the screen and the "car.ini" tab on the other side.

9. the parameters you are interested in are in the "[BASIC]" section.
You will need to change the value in "GRAPHICS_OFFSET = 0, -0.56, -0.00"

10. The value you are interested in is the third, "-0.00".
Move this value until you see the wheels in the position you want, a shift of -0.02 already produces results, so proceed for small movements until you reach the position you want.

The method of moving via "car.ini \ GRAPHICS_OFFSET" is only a visual effect that does not involve changes to the physics.
If you want to get the same wheels \ frame alignment, you can repeat the steps of the previous guide, but this time from the "suspension.ini" file in the "[BASIC]" section, just change the value of "CG_LOCATION = 0.55".
In addition to the position of the wheels, this value also changes the car's center of gravity.

Hello, i would like to import a car in Assetto Corsa. I have made the model but in blender i don't have the fbx 2014 or 2015 because it's the current version. And with 2016 when i would like to import in KS Editor. The car doesn't spawn in KS Editor

download "FBXConvertUI", load your fbx, from the left screen, from the right screen press "convert"
now in your fbx folder you will have created another "FBX 2013" folder, inside you will find your converted fbx.
ps. FBXConvertUI does not create the persistence file that you may have extracted, so you will have to use the old one you had with your unconverted fbx.

Thanks man. I have a question. What is the object to put in the collider.jbx?
