QUESTION Building the track i work at, HELP with Shadow Anomaly I can't reproduce.

Hi all,

This is my first post. I work at a private track and have been tasked with updating the geometry of our new buildings added on property. I have given the track to a couple employees and members and they all get a strange shadow anomaly on the buildings that i don't get and can't reproduce at home working on the project. Content Manager is a requirement as i have used GrassFX, so everyone is running that and the latest free CSP. I cannot for the life of me set my machine to reproduce these anomalies. The screenshot below is from a co-worker who has almost the exact setup I do: Content Manager paid version, CSP, SOL, 10am lighting set. I have dug around just about everywhere.

This isnt a thing by the way... Content manager - whether free or paid, is only an updated launcher / UI.

CSP is what gives you grassfx, treefx. Patron/preview CSP gives you rainfx

Hi, no screenshot is visible.
Yeah i deleted the photos a couple hours after posting. I was able to duplicate it, and i'm starting to track it down. I'm wondering if it's the type of DDS i'm exporting out of Photoshop, as as far as i can tell, the model is fine(Normals out, no hidden geometry, ect.)

but here's what i'm getting

I'm able to get rid of the shadows if i move the lighting around enough, but this isn't good enough, I need to figure out what's causing it.

I meant it's a requirement for my users for the track to work. This track doesn't work without CSP, and CM is the easiest way to install CSP

Is the model imported from somewhere? And are you using 3ds Max?

DDS textures dont cause this...

Tried resetting xform on the mesh?
So Maya doesn't have this xform, but are you asking if I deleted transformations and deleted history, yes. Is there an importance to setting the objects pivot point to the "center" of the grid? These objects' pivot is centered to each object. This scene is far larger than the "center" of the scene.

Sorry if I don't reply again tonight, the track goes hot at 8 am, and i'm in circuit control, and it's 10pm here.
