Hello guys, i was about to create a new thread about power.lut, and ui_car.json, but found this old thread and it´s related, so sorry if i´m bringing up an old thread, if best, please let me know and i´ll create a new one.
My doubt is about the right meassures to put on each file, for example:
on power.lut i need to set values registered on the wheels right? the torque(Nm) generated on the "floor/wheels", which for a race car are about 18-20% less then on the engine/flywheel?
on the ui_car.json, the other hand, i must set the lossless values? all the power and torque generated on the engine, without the transmissions losses?
i´m asking, bacause i´m using AC content manager to read and check the changes, and it keeps showing me an error on ui_car.json file, that my values are wrong at about 71%, do i need to set the ui_car.json, for 18-20% more power/torque than the power.lut to get this message gone?
here´s my power.lut values, i couldn`t get an officially released power, rpm and torque curve data, so with little known comfirmed values on certains rpm´s i´m interpolating the rest, any ilogical and irracional error, please bare with me and point where i´m doing things wrong please:
RPM|Torque(Nm) on wheels:
0|100
500|220
1000|250
1500|273
2000|305
2500|345
3000|385
3500|440
4000|475
4500|497
5000|513
5500|495
6000|475
6500|473
7000|420
7500|375
8000|323
8500|0
PS:
And Luchian, thank you for the :Your First Car on Assetto Corsa thread; it really motivated me to start my first scratch car for AC and an Automobilista series conversion too, loving to learning cars now.
Best Regards
