Car Physics management tools??

Are there any tool for editing/creating/managing the physics files?

I am looking for any command line or GUI tools that will just speedup and simplify creating and managing power.lut, engine.ini, suspension.ini, setup.ini and the aeri files etc.

TIA

I have missed this thread.

I don't have that much to add, but I think I've seen something at least for power.lut.. but don't know remember where exactly. Probably on AC forum.
Also, some modders simply created their own tools, but I guess that is not that straightforward for first(s) try.

LE: and here is one :).

I realize this thread is about a year old. However, I have an Excel Spreadsheet that I think was created by ISI that I used, modified and updated. I'm sure it could be tweaked for AC. I have attached the spreadsheet.

Hello guys, i was about to create a new thread about power.lut, and ui_car.json, but found this old thread and it´s related, so sorry if i´m bringing up an old thread, if best, please let me know and i´ll create a new one.

My doubt is about the right meassures to put on each file, for example:

on power.lut i need to set values registered on the wheels right? the torque(Nm) generated on the "floor/wheels", which for a race car are about 18-20% less then on the engine/flywheel?

on the ui_car.json, the other hand, i must set the lossless values? all the power and torque generated on the engine, without the transmissions losses?

i´m asking, bacause i´m using AC content manager to read and check the changes, and it keeps showing me an error on ui_car.json file, that my values are wrong at about 71%, do i need to set the ui_car.json, for 18-20% more power/torque than the power.lut to get this message gone?

here´s my power.lut values, i couldn`t get an officially released power, rpm and torque curve data, so with little known comfirmed values on certains rpm´s i´m interpolating the rest, any ilogical and irracional error, please bare with me and point where i´m doing things wrong please:

RPM|Torque(Nm) on wheels:
0|100
500|220
1000|250
1500|273
2000|305
2500|345
3000|385
3500|440
4000|475
4500|497
5000|513
5500|495
6000|475
6500|473
7000|420
7500|375
8000|323
8500|0

PS:
And Luchian, thank you for the :Your First Car on Assetto Corsa thread; it really motivated me to start my first scratch car for AC and an Automobilista series conversion too, loving to learning cars now.

Best Regards

Thanks Luchian, let´s see if one of the physics guys bring more info, would be really appreciated, i re-calculated some RPM ranges, updated the power.lut, and added the transmistion loss to the ui_car.json file, the difference shown on AC Car manager, dropped down, but still, that app can´t accept the data on UI. I found and updated all the gear ratios too, the car is much more believable now, this car is complex it has the push to pass system and turbo too, maybe this features are messing the simple, power/ rpm/torque settings, need to learn more about physics making for AC, thank you in advance!

Not really sure what the issue is. Power.ini is of course torque measured at the wheels as you've already identified, typically 15%-ish less than torque measured at the crank. And yes for the UI, its normal to input the torque/power measured at the crank, but really it makes no difference to the physics so you can enter whatever you want really.

Personally since I have Content Manager I haven't edited any of the UI files manually. Whatever you do in there has no influence at all on the physics.

Not really sure what the issue is... .
Yeah, definatelly not a functionality issue, i just wanted to know the best way to represent the car on UI, i would like to have the UI showing exactly the real numbers and curves as the physics performance on the floor, so i want UI too show values already with the losses, in this case, it´s a race car, so i used 20% transmission loss. The question was more about why AC manager keeps prompting me, a message saying my UI file´s values is about 45-60% sometimes bigger then what the power.lut has. I don´t if i could ignore that Content manager message, since the car is working great and seems believeble on tracks. Thanks by the answer, i´m studying more aboute the curves and engine values and hope to improve more the performance of the car and the UI displays;

I´ve tried a couple of times to let Content manager fix the UI file for me, but it increased a lot the power and torque values, even, setting the loss bar values at 20%.

Okay guys, thanks for trying to help, i figured it out, it was the turbo that was over-calculated and was messing with Content Manager calculations for the ui file, now everything is fine, on ui, on the files and on the tracks, thanks again!
