Yes it is different.

The sound samples are from the AE86 N2 from Rfactor, I've reworked them all to closed loops, so there are no hard cuts in Fmod anymore.
Since I did not like that one hundred percent and the difference between full load and engine brake was not meaningful enough for me, I gave the blacktop sound for full load in the lower rpm range and mixed it over from the blacktop coast (off) sound over the entire rpm range for the engine brake sound.

I took over the external sound from the Blacktop and made the sound color more brutal by EQ. However, one hears now, if one positions itself with the camera in front of the hood, the engine and not the exhaust, which I had never published for v0.2. In addition, there are now braking noises, quieter and duller than the Lotus Omega. ButI had no time to test the ingame sound, so if something should be inconsistent just write. And yes, the engine turns over 9k when you set it in the Engine.ini. (Limiter settings and power.lut).

I tried the new sounds and while it works fine over 9000 rpm I've found to issues that bug me.
1st - the onboard sound has some whining, don't know if that would be the gear box but sounds more like a supercharger, but for the N2 mod could do the work. Maybe I could just remove it from the guid.txt for personal use (don't know how to do it though)
2nd - the sound on the exterior, watching the replay, coming toward to camera sounds a bit loud but it's nice, the problem is when they pass by and go away, it sounds too muffled, it could be a little louder
(minute 14:41)

The exhaust is really too dull and I will try to change that again. The gearbox can be made louder and quieter via the Auidomixer, it will stay that way as some people have already told me that they love the whining. I do my best but I can not promise to get it done before the weekend, maybe take even longer. Thanks for your feedback.

Ok, in what way? Actually, I just fixed the brake sound, made the gear_up and down quieter, and removed the reverb and bass gain from the external sound. So I did not notice anything.

If you're still continuing development for your sound mod, perhaps you can try this video right here:

EDIT: I found a relatively good quality video for the interior sounds using the same engine as on the above video, Keiichi Tsuchiya's 7AGE.
