RELEASED-wip AE86 - 4A-GE 20V BlackTop -best sound mod ever

there are plenty of japanese ae86 drifting onboard videos like runningfree86, I bet there are some useful videos for recording samples. I could send you a couple via PM so I don't fill the thread with videos

Yeah it is a new car, so you can use the original sound mod by kunos and my sound mod. The brand is named tourist. Try v2, it has 4ag exhaust sound.
oh, you should put both links on the first post or just one link, I 've just found it but it was on another post

The base mod is from Kunos, i am thinking about a possibilty to be compliant with copyright shit and give unskilled people the possibility to use both sound mods. I dont have the right to release this mod in the way i did with v.0.1 and 2.

On the contrary. Firstly, the forum does not suffer from overcrowding. But more importantly, all this is part of the proccess.

I know that we sometimes tend to use PM (because "it's just a test" / "it's not ready" / "people will laugh" / "i may sound stupid", etc.). But what is often forgot is that ALL of these steps and fears ale also part of the process. And at some point, everybody creating or learning how-to, encountered a similar situation. I think it's a good ideea to be able to read about "the struggles". I find it educating as well.

Example, just the inocent comment of JustKauser that would remain private if used on PM.
This one:
If you want that i rip the engine sound from your vid, no chance, to much distortion noise, like stones and other cars, to short engine sample in a similar rpm range and no possibility get enough of the rpm data. Please look for a good minimum 10 seconds sample of acceleration maybe from 0 t0 100 in second gear without loud wind noise.
My 2 cents.

I compare it to Kunos Sound Mod, i think i messed up the Event Angle Settings, because in the example project KUNOS Simulazioni are just a Lowpass and a Distance Filter for their Event Angle and Distance Settings, but for their AE86 Soundmod they make it more complex, check out the first 5 seconds:

It sounds more realistic when they change volume of the engine - and the exhaust noise linear combination dynamic to the Event cone angle then the static mix in my sound mod. By the way: Nice drifting!

The only thing I understand is "nice drifting" and I thank you for that hehe.
You're doing a great mod so far, of course there's always room for improvement but I can use this mod as it is now, it sounds legit

What do you think about this old rfactor mod?

I have the Sound files, so i can make it. Sounds very similar, or not?
Yeah, it sounds pretty good! It's definitely different from stock sounds so it will suite either the tuned and drift version. Maybe if it's not too much to ask you could do a 8000 rpm limiter and one for 9000rpm limiter engine? There's no rush so if you are working on other projects as well we can definitely wait. We've been waiting since the jdm pack came out so why no wait a bit longer.
Thanks a lot!!
