Hey; just wanted to say that this is one of my favourite tracks, in fact i have been using a basic 'HQ' conversion of my own making & learning how to do stuff as i go along. Sure looks tasty & i wish you all the best in your work to finish this criminally overlooked track. Regards!

Also here watching your project with a lot of interest :) We are planning to run the 24h Ascari Race in October (https://24h-experience.com) and I'm currently sitting 2.300 kms away and the only way for me to "train" for the circuit is a very fishy transformation of rfactor to Assetto.

This looks awesome already, and I'm growing to like so much the track that even if it's not finished before the race (although a beta wouldn't hurt... maybe... :whistle:) I'm sure it's going to be my favourite in Assetto.

Our team is full :( we don't even have the car ready and we are still planning how to bring the car to Málaga, so it's quite the adventure already.

I think that the best would be for you to contact the organizer, he'll know about any team looking for drivers or possibility to attend (you might need to tell him about an Assetto mod with Astra GSIs and Golf MKII though :lol:) :info@24h-experience.com.

You know how it is in Ascari, no place for spectators, but you can say you need to study the AI lines in detail... :whistle:

Hey guys I'm alive... sorry for the breackaway.

I move to my fathers house, no way to live alone with my income, I was living out of electricity one week, but finally I keep my pride inside my ass and ask help to my parents.

Tomorrow I will be able to retake the project and my father offer me a room to live while I solve my financial problems.

min 2:41 all the girls wet couse the rain and Ricky takes the one with rain suit, this guy is incorrigible.

I'm working to simplify the white line meshes... need to redo the UV for those meshes and also for the entire terrain, we decided to avoid common method to place the grass on both sides of road... I'm talking about 2d texture grass over the terrain mesh.

The new method gives a udge variety to the grass... we are using the satellite image also for the grass and it is so cool and diferent from every track out there in assetto corsa, I like the actual look of the track... also we update one more change they make in the real circuit.

There is change in the sand traps close to the start line, diferent place for grey gravel and brown "sand"

also we change the way the raod is joined to the grass, we need to work on that, the mesh of the road is done and more changes and updates on single objects like ambulance , quads, tyres....

I want to finish that thing!!!! :)

Some pics of the last updates... you can see the old mesh for the white lines, result from subdivision and with useless vertex in the midle of it, also you can see the old textures for grass and the juction betwen road or kerb and grass, removed from project, less materials is better.




this is the new mesh and proper UV for new texture with more variation on white lines... before we have diferent materials and textures for them... now there is only one white lines material.

that is really good I think. can see you trying to get it like the large tree at ascari :)

just tweak textures for trunk and should be good.

It is old, dry and dark wood.... it dosen't shine. :ROFLMAO:

Picture from new physic layer, the blue dots are 4mm bumps added manually, now we strat to play with noise/ramdomize and also height maps.
