Ashburton Street Sprints is an event run by the Ashburton Car Club in New Zealand every Mothers day weekend in May.
The event has been running for 30 years and 2019 celebrated its anniversary.
Its undoubtedly the most hotly contested clubsport level event in the South Island bringing out the fastest turbo 4wd cars.

This is my second track using RTB and starting to get the hang of it. There are a shit load of haybales and i spent way too much time recreating the pits with everyones cars....

I use to live in ashvegas aka ashburton and I noticed some of the cars like the stockers fd etc

Hey man,

Yeah i've been competing for like 6 years there and its my favourite event and certainly most competitive.

I've actually started waimate 50. Needs a heap of work so won't have it ready before next weekend when its on but will keep plugging away.

Have done Tara hills run by waimate50 and 3 mile hill in dunedin so waimate50 next.
