The next project I'm tackling should not be a big surprise but still be a pleasant one I think. It's the modern Circuit Mont-Tremblant (LCMT) based on the 2018 aerial Lidar scan and highly detailed ortho-photo.
I'm not alone in this new adventure, I'm teaming up with RobL. He's a regular lapper at the real place and he has the skillset to help move this project forward faster.
He's actually been very busy shrinkwrapping roads and modelling curbs for this version for a while now.
Our goal to get a high fidelity version that will be useful to those driving and racing at the real place (and be a good sim racing track too!)
So we already have some progress to show.
Needless to say, we'll be able to re-use many assets of the 1969 version, which should considerably speed up the developement.
Some new assets modelling is also well underway.
