Some nice and useful tricks along the video. The use of arrays and curve modifiers can be very useful for track making also. Or who knows, maybe you'd like to mod a train into Assetto Corsa

Speaking of trains.... is there a way to trigger movement of a scenery asset? Like the balloons that float up based on a random seed, is there a way to set an object in motion down a path?

Like maybe have a train pass over the grade crossing in Longford 1967

Unfortunately no. The baloons are all we got for the moment. This is a long requested feature, but not important enough for Kunos..

How about the ability to pipe text output to a billboard.

I was thinking about a in a Race Of Champions arena track having the current laptime or sector time display on a billboard would be great.

would be very great. but dangerous. given how the internet works now.

Elite dangerous has an un used billboard system waiting for ad revenue to be made from it. the potential is incredible and HORRIBLE at the same time.

anyway I have some questions. about this seemingly basic balloon system.
1. can we spin an object on a spot ?

if answer = yes, I can make simple dynamic picture change in game on a billboard type thing.

Not yet, maybe when they released the porsche`s dlc.
They had commented to put animations in the circuits ( in the future)
