Dashpanel, a dashboard app for Android tablets, just got nice update. It's free to use with couple of basic features. Supports lots of games. Buying a licence opens a good selection of widgets and easy to use editor.
I've done some textures for it for free so no hidden agendas here, just recommending an excellent dashboard app.
