Hey everyone,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. Been lurking here for probably a year watching various track builds, etc and learning as much as I can. I'm new to 3D work and slowly learning, working on a few projects (Canadian tracks), when I'm not in my rig.

I figured I should finally sign up, so here I am.

Cheers!
Brad.

Hey Brad, welcome!

What tracks are you working on?

Thanks Luchian and John. Currently I'm working on Atlantic Motorsport Park in NS and Shannonville in Ontario. AMP is a conversion sort of project, the author built the track for RF2 but sent me along all the 3D source files, etc. Shannonville is my first scratch project and very much an experiment, mainly just something for me to trial and error away in and learn and experiment.

Oh that’s awesome! I made Mosport, and LilSKi is currently working on Calabogie, lots of Canadian tracks all of a sudden

Looking good, feel free to reach out if you got any questions

Thanks, I appreciate it! The quality that folks like yourself, LilSki, Fat-Alfie, etc produce is what I aspire to. I've also learned a lot from posts by the above mentioned, plus Luchian and others. Excellent resources, thanks a lot to those who take the time to share their knowledge. The learning curve is big and I'm learning slowly, but I'm plugging away haha.

I'm pleased to see more Canadian tracks, can't wait to do some laps at Bogie.

I've been doing some more work on AMP and noticed these odd white areas. I believe they showed up after I copied a model in from another version of the map. Are these a problem?

-edit- I think I figured it out. Had textures on different planes fighting each other.
