Maybe I should've posted here first. I've been into AC since around 2018 - 2019 iirc. Was fascinated by it's modding capabilities and the ability to bring real life roads to sim, especially touges (I'm an old TXR nut) using RTB and other similar software. I used to create tracks for Granturismo 6 using the cracked android app and python thanks to other members on GTPlanet. Got real good at recreating real life roads and tracks using geo data from Google as well as reference pictures, videos and being able to physically go to places (Local roads). Made many real life roads, touges and tracks. Scenery objects was difficult because of the lack of materials PD gave us. By the time I got good with it in 2017, PD decided to shut down the servers in early 2018. So all that work, short of the geo data on old HDD's are gone. So since then, I've slowly amassed a collection of cars and track on AC. Then, I began getting into modding vehicles and tracks. started with lights and through a couple years of tinkering. I've managed to get decent at tuning the physics of cars aswell as some (little, mostly tuts found online) knowledge of 3D modeling. I can get lights on, animate wipers and such, yet, the more in depth stuff such as 3D software and complicated scripts I'm not too good at. I have an older version of Blender (My PC's old Thuban CPU can only handle so much I guess). So I'm looking forward to learning. I know it's gonna take time, yet, I'm looking forward to the journey.
