Hi, new member here

[R8 Gordini]

Hi everyone,

I'm watching this forum over a year now and I've learned a lot on AC track modding here.
Thanks to all Modders who share their knowledge here, you created a great database of wisdom here.
There's no specific project I'm working on, just fumbling around a bit to learn how AC track stuff works.
I'm fairly new to Blender (2.8) but got some experience with 3dsimed and older versions of 3dsmax.
Maybe I can post some educated questions here and there

No, absolutely not

Though it might seem so...but:

when I was born in early '69 our family car was a Gordini 1300S R1135. The first car I ever realized in my life.
My Dad used to race it on weekends at local slalom events and amateur series at Hockenheim .
This is why I have this nickname.

And yes, my avatar pic is a render pic of a model I did 10 years ago.
And no, forget it, the full model is below 30k polys and not suitable for modern sims and I won't push this further .
Proportions match pretty good, could be a template.
