This is a new project that will come after finishing the Fiorano track.

The name says it all, this is a fantasy track based on an industrial area with unclean factories, dark alleys and grime all over. This project will honor all the industrial tracks from the NFS franchise.

Here are some alpha version screens:

a) Since we're talking about industrial, Detroit style, we couldn't fail with the Ford Mustang.
The factories can be seen in the background.

b) Running through some factories.

You'll be able to run through: warehouses, foundries, bridges, small alleys, tunnels.
Full industrial surroundings: trucks, abandonned vehicles, companies, trash, etc.

Cheers!

I'd be very interested by a good execution of this idea. It is on my (endless) list also. I'd love to have a run against friends in something looking like the Industrial Zone from NFS Porsche :nerd:. And you know what the key for fun was: alternative routes in some areas :).
Good luck with the project.

PS: This we I will also try your "Quebrada" and give you my impression.

Yes I know exactly what you mean, "Zone Industrielle" is the name of that track you refering to. Lovely!
Indeed, the shorcuts are gonna be in there, each with their own dificulty level.

It's great to hear you gonna try it out, I hope you like it. The most important aspect I would like feedback on, is related to the FFB, maybe i've overdone the depth or height of the bumps, etc. And well yes I wanna know if you have fun with it.

Oh yes and regarding that track, not sure how to set them up for 1 lap. I do have the naming convention for PTP, but it seems, that AI cars once they cross the finish line they forfeit instead of ending it.

Thanks!

I know it's been quite a while, but hey, now here they are. The following are teaser screens for the upcoming project. The idea behind this little post is to give you a little taste of how things will look and feel.

1) For object ( buildings, etc. ) that you can get close to, have this quality.

2) Same here, anything close will look nice.

3) A little scene to show a bit more of the surroundings and feel of the level. This is the Hubbard district.

I don't want to give too much info away, but basically this track will be the "proving grounds" for different aspects of driving, as well as to be able to experience different driving scenarios within the industrial sector.
There will be different types of selectable races, as well as a the full open map for your complete driving pleasure. There will also be different key areas which will be shown in future screens.

This is all for now ;)
