QUESTION Is it possible an app that opens a text file and saves it?

Hi people, i'm thinking on an app that can open CSP's car or track config files and let the user edit it and save it without opening the text file from outside AC. I know you can do it just opening the text file and live editing, but an app that can have the text onscreen i think it would make it very comfortable to do it.
The bad thing is that my skills for making apps are in very bad shape, so first i'm asking if something like this is possible, and in the case it is possible, to ask if you can please point me to how the code should look more or less...

dont do that, most of the stuff from data folder will not be updated live anyway, so its kinda pointless...

No but i mean only extension config files for Custom Shaders Patch, not anything from data folder

enable CSP dev apps, they should have everything you need
(ingame: taskbar at the bottom)

And then there is also BLM lights, but beware, its somewhat old, it might have problems with some more sophisticated configs, make a backup before using it

there you can change most CSP params live

and then you can close that waiting window with
- a click on it and ALT+F4 or
- right click title bar->close

to get access to CM

What i have in mind are these config files, specially the car ones.
The only way i know to access these are through the explorer, not through dev apps nor CM...

best you get is BLM lights for tracks, or make something

for all car related stuff use ContentManagers CustomShowroom, it can do (edit: almost) more than ksEditor

Because it makes it way faster to access them and work on them, specially when editing a big bunch of cars one after the other... well after this talk i guess it is actually possible, thanks!
