Ok so I'm back, been doing some work today. I hope tomorrow I will have plenty of time.
Well if you remember, I had posted that I was about 90% done with the physical layer, but yesterday I realized that I had overseen a large area

, so probably we're down back to around 60%.
Anyhow, as today I started getting into surfaces ( surfaces.ini ) for the first time, I realized that I could probably mimic to some degree the hand made bumps I've been working on all this time.
So the track could have the 60% hand made + the surface code for the moment, in the meantime I try to gather more time to finish the hand labor.
I'm really inerested in releasing this track, so I have a few questions to all track makers beforehand.
1) What do you consider as an alpha version of a track ( what's the least of features it needs )
2) What state do you consider this track to be in ( from what you can see in previous post images )
3) Would you submit an alpha, or would you rather make it to 1.0.
4) Have you had an experience where you've released an alpha, and when you got to 1.0, not as many people were interested in the track anymore.
What I could work on today was creating a gravel surface for secondary roads, works pretty well. Also modelled some important items missing which you can see in the following screens:
a) The bridge is now modelled from the half up. ( Later version will be the full bridge with the riverbed crossing beneath. )
b) And here the communications tower. This is about the closest one gets to it, but since it can be seen from miles away, it adds to the scenery ( also keeping things real )
So this is it. I want to hear your comments, suggestions, thoughts, etc.
