Hello community.
I have a question about how materials work and the statistics of poly and mesh.
I currently proceed this way to export my mesh:
1 - I link all the meshes containing the same materials.
2 - I divide the mesh that contains the same material by 60k poly.
I reproduce all this for each material, I don't know if it's the right method but it works, however I have a problem:
When I carry out this operation I look on blender for the number of polys then I divide but when I export my mesh to kseditor I get errors and the number of poly has no link with what I divided on blender .
I am going to export a mesh of 60k poly I am going to have 150k or other figure but never below, I am therefore obliged to divide the mesh by 10k poly, but by doing this I considerably increase my number of objects.
