QUESTION Shading issue with new track mod

Hi All, sorry about the dumb question, right now I'm trying to build a quick and dirty track mod for AC. I'm looking to finish it up before I hit the track for the first time competing IRL and would love to get a bit of sim practice before I get there.
I have the track working in assetto corsa, yes the geometry is super rough, but everything seems to work, bar two things. 1 I span in the wrong part of the track, 2 the lap timing doesn't seem to work, and finally, and most concerning, I've managed to butcher the textures so badly it's either super harsh shadows or I can't see a thing because it's so bright. I've just used seamless image textures. I'm not looking to make it pretty, I just really would like to sort out the lighting issue, I'm only making this track to learn the way the course goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Jack

For 1 & 2, im guessing it is an origin problem; make sure the origin point of your spawn and timing objects matches the object's location - which it wouldn't if you moved them in edit mode. There's an option to move the origin point to the center of the object and viceversa.

For the visuals, just edit the values in the ks editor to something sensible... from memory it would be around 0.3 for ambient and diffuse, but if you use csp you could jump into a kunos track, open the object inspector app and see what they used in the original tracks

YOU ARE MY HERO! Thank you so so much!! The ambient and diffuse settings worked a treat.
I'm going to take a look at the other, but thank you so so much!
