NEWS The teasing for the Dreampack#2 begins

Because it might be in his job description, Marco Massarutto is actually doing some fine work in teasing us. Now it's dreampack#2's turn.

Started with a nice shot of the SCG 003Cs training on the Nords..

.. followed by a little riddle with this interior shot (most probably from the RUF rgt)..

..aand a surprise non-official shot with these

There's not much announced about the content, but from the little that we know, dreampack#2 will contain:

• The laser-scanned Circuit de Catalunya (Barcelona)
• new Audi(s) : Audi R8 LMS
  
• new Lamborghini(s)
• SCG 003C (Competizione) by SCUDERIA GLICKENHAUS
• new RUF(s) ?
• BMW M4 ?

Even though we don't yet know when this will be available (based on previous experience, one might guess "when ready") it's always a good time to start speculations .

PS: If you don't know what #dreampack stands for in Assetto Corsa environment, this is how Kunos choose to name their DLC releases. And the first one, was actually a real dream pack, adding some iconic cars to the base content. You can read more about it there.

A modern RUF... I'd drive the s**t out of that one! It'd make a fine car for a one-make series, hmm.

Is it just me or is the car line-up in Assetto Corsa shaping up very well indeed? Let me split them in logical categories:

• Slow road cars: Giulietta, Mito, 500
• Fun road cars: M3 E30, GT-86, base Elises, M3 E92 and the M4 incoming
• Fast road cars: 458, MP4-12C with the Huracan, 488 and RUF incoming
• Hypercars...
• Old-school blasts (slow and fast): RUF CTR, F40, Alfa GTA
• GT cars: this is a long and elaborate list, with more cars to follow as per the teaser (R8 LMS, Huracan GT3)

Maybe the open-wheel and touring-like cars are missing, but I'm pretty much satisfied with the current line-up. It's the tracks that hold the game down, if you ask me. I think the addition of race (or road, as the Americans call them) tracks from America, Japan and even Australia would give us a nice diversity.
