QUESTION What are the floating red pluses or crosses on a track? Physics remove

I was wondering if you might know. I was tinkering in CM and I must have clicked something because I am seeing floating red crosses or pluses in a racing line configuration. I was wondering how to turn it off. I think it has to do with physics but I unchecked them and they are still there. . Thank you in advance.
