I recognize the AC mod community are generally "open," and I've uploaded open mods to Race Department. That said, is there a way to code a mod, e.g., a car, so that it can't be shared beyond the intended user?

Encryption of files is possible, yes

Thanks John.
My interest is not in preventing anyone from "modifying the Mod," rather it is in preventing a recipient from sharing the Mod with others.
If that is possible, are you able to direct me to any documentation on "How To?"

You mean a paid mod? No, currently there's no way to prevent someone from re-uploading the mod.
Would need some sort of a licensing server, or something that only works based on a license/hardware token deal, etc. Not applicable in your case.

I made everything on my own. vertice by vertice...

It is not worth it IMO, the only thing which makes sense to encrypt is car's data because sometimes it can contain sensitive info for racing teams, but encrypting models is waste of time, just because even CSP encrypted stuff can be ripped directly from the game by some "special" tools :)

i saw how they have to rip it. its not that simple and takes some time to put everything together again.
But i guess you're right that it's not worth for a fictional 1st try map.
