Hey, for christmas i want to release this nice sound mod,
when you download it and installed it, look in AC for a new manufactury named tourist, should be the toyota sign.

I hope that work for all new versions of AC, i have problems with my hardware perfomance at the latest version, so i used an older one. Please give me feedback, so soon as possible want to release a final version at 25. December at Racedepartment.

Regards Just

P.S Believe it, or not: The yellow RX7 is a AI drifter!

Finally, a sound modder !! Welcoooome @Just Kauser ! :D

The sound mod (like any mod) will have people who love it and people who don't. But something else is way more important: the fact that you made it :D.

Would you care to share some of the workflow ? In as many (or at least few) words you wish to. This part is missing not only from our forum, but from the net as well, as far as I could look for. There is very little information about sound modding for AC. What does one need ? What does one need to know ? Very curious. TY in advance :).

Hey ! internal sound is great but need higher RPM ! 7000 sounds like 6000rpm :p if you can add some transmission noise too , ae86 diff is very noisy :)

Hey Takumi, you Mordschleife Run was my inspiration for my sound mod, i watch your drifting videos since years: My favorite part is 7:42 auf dem Karussell:

Ok, what is the exactly problem, is the rpm sound of my mod just in the sector over 5k rpm to low or in the sector under 2k too? For the first case it i would recalculate 3*3*2 values for the second case 3*3*2*10 and that is the moment where i become lazy and then it take perhaps weeks, because i study electromobility and so i am busy with other things. For now i create a other newer version with exhaust sound and louder transmission noise.

I will upload this and a preview video tomorrow at the uni because they have a higher upload speed. Best Regards Just.

Ok, here is the promised version. @Lazy Takumi : To amplify the diff noise volume you can use the audio master app ingame, too. Maybe you should activate the DEV APPS:
o activate it go to xxx\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg and open the assetto_corsa.ini.

There you have to change ENABLE_DEV_APPS=0 from 0 to 1 and then just save it.

I set Engine noise to 10 and the Transmission noise to 8 ( and for Gentle Mind Perfomance Mods 2), but if you like to hear the tranny crying you can set the value to 10, reduce all other values and make you pc master volume higher.

I decide to make the next version with high quality footage from 4a_ge 20V dyno run, that i find coincidentally. For that i used cubic interpolation and a Granular Pipeline Synthesis like GTA5, Dirt Rally, NFS etc, to create samples from a engine noise with increasing and decreasing rpm: For this i use Unity and C#. The program is almost finished! Maybe you can record the real diff, tranny, horn, skid and bodywork noise from your Hachiroku, if she is still alive, in high quality and send me the sound files? Or you visit me next time when you went to the Sachsenring, I live 20km away. Next week i get my Tascam so i can record my 2.5 V6 N/A

You can clearly hear, that the air intake noise frequency is not linear proportional to the the constant engine noise, thats results mainly from friction and vibration.

The Granular Pipeline Synthesis works: it sounds a little bit smoother when i test it without recording it, but for now i am using my laptop with 2.4GHZ duo core and this evening i am using my sox core 4.3GHZ desktop pc. Then it should sounds a lot better because the framerate of pitching and volume changing processes is higher then.

You're wrong. I compare the sounds of my mod at 8k rpm to the real sound from a 4 age at 8K rpm,
the tone is the same, but my sound mod has a bigger frequency spectrum, starts deeper, and ends higher. Maybe thats the reason why you are thinking it is not high enough.

No problem, Which suspension do you want? Stock mod, drift tune or tuned? How much power should the engine @9k have? When using the 4A engine, max. 190 HP without turbo,
with the 7A 214hp without turbo, or should a turbo be used?

From which speed should the limiter be used? (RPM)

What do you mean by sharing? With your friends? No problem, public, i would not recommend that, it is my sound mod and Kunos car mod from the jap. pack!

If you want that i rip the engine sound from your vid, no chance, to much distortion noise, like stones and other cars, to short engine sample in a similar rpm range and no possibility get enough of the rpm data. Please look for a good minimum 10 seconds sample of acceleration maybe from 0 t0 100 in second gear without loud wind noise. The samples from the dyno run that i produce have a loud intake noise, and they dont have this agressive vibration noise like the rfactor samples.

The sound mod you're working on is for the road car, right? It sounds really good so far. It would be nice if you could work also on a more racing spec engine but time permitting of course,

The idle sound at the beginning is great but i cant see any rpm data so i decide to test this video from runningfree86 to extract some engine noise from.
It seems that it has a better audio quality, too.
