Ok, So i been trying to build a map here for a couple of days but the KSeditor keeps crashing everytime i try to import the map. I have singled it down to the Gaurdrails, anytime i lay a gaurdrail down the program crashes on import and i have tried everything. i think i got it to work maybe once and i try to do part of the track itll work but then i do the whole track and then the program just shuts down while importing.its driving me insane i cant figure this out. The program just completely shuts down. I saw something about JIT Debugging but i have no idea where to find that so i can figure out what the cause is. Please help this newbie out.

So you're building a track with Race Track Builder?

Ok I'll post the full log in a couple min. Yeah I'm building a track based off the local hillclimb around my area I'll post pictures of it then as well too

Hi @Hyrulianlink15 Really sorry this isn't something I've encountered before. Hopefully someone else can help.

Just a few things to check. If you've narrowed it down to the guard rails, are they all in 1 object? If so, perhaps try splitting it into a few smaller ones. kseditor doesn't like objects with huge amounts of vertices. It usually would throw up an error message rather than just crash, but worth checking.
What about the material applied to the guardrails? How many texture slots have you used for that material? kseditor only allows 1 texture per material in the fbx. Then you apply the other texture slots in kseditor for shaders that have more than one texture slot.
What about the texture file itself. Is it a DDS or a PNG? Try to avoid PNGs. They can be used but if it's a png, try converting to DDS and see if it helps? Also, what are the texture's dimensions? They need to be a factor of 2 (e.g. 2048 x 1024px)

These might be obvious suggestions that you've already taken care of. I'm just trying to think what might be worth looking at in case you haven't already done so, since I've not encountered that error before.

@MGMetroDave i honestly just used the stock Xpacks that came with Race Track Builder. im not too sure how to even adjust the texture slots and materials. And by one object do you mean like When the Nodes come up? because i have a Few long strips of gaurdrails. (which would explain why when its a small gaurdrail it will load sometimes.) and if thats the case should i do like maybe 5 nodes and only take it up to say 100 and then make a new one?

I Now have most the maps gaurdrails in i been only using about 3 nodes per gaurdrail and been going through the whole map like that but now im in the last few chicanes and now no matter what i do it crashes and now this window just came up for me

so this has seemed to resolve itself? i decided to delete all the gaurdrail out of the track and put it in the most important parts of the track so i started at the bottom of the track and only made each string 3 nodes long and it seemed to have worked for the entire track. i appreciate all the help guys

Yeah it's a bit hard for us to help with RTB issues as we're mostly working in like a "deeper modelling level".
My guess is some object had no material attached for whatever reason, KSEditor will crash if that happens
