Very nice grass :)
Isn't it beautiful? I don't want to speak out of school, but I think @Pixelchaser also came up with a different method of creating the grass which provided beautiful results, as we all can see, but more importantly, wasn't as taxing on the resources so you could spend more polys elsewhere or whatever. Again, I might be off on some of that, time has gone by so quickly and I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday. :ROFLMAO:

Off Topic for Pixelchaser:
Hey, congratulations on getting your job back, Pixelchaser. :) Right on. If you were being serious about the depression, keep your head up my man. I know exactly what you mean. I've had a lot of health issues over my life and continue to have a lot of health issues. I've got spare parts keeping me alive thanks to the kindness of organ donors, but my depression only got worse after my transplants. I started taking anti-depressants about 4 years ago and damn...do I wish I had gotten on them sooner. I'm not 100% improved by any stretch of the imagination, but they've been a tremendous help is all I'll say. :) And, I'm not ashamed to admit it, obviously. :D

I hope all is going well. :)

well cheers man. loads of karma all round ! in comparison to your woes thankfully im physically ok...
As far as i can tell with depression its all in the mind....a life is a life when there is life. staying healthy and rising above all is necessary. we all find out in different ways. for me I learn through mistakes.. . I smoke too much weed being a problem that is the hinge mechanism to many others issues. and why I don't want anti-D`s... there is a ying and yang to everything I find. i`ve certainly found my Ying from experiencing all that Yang so to speak .

im loving ACC at present. no idea what im doing with track stuff, if anything. just getting used to working like a slave for a pittance of money. hehe.

regards the grass thing. its worked great but its not easy to get set up. since the limerock stuff ive managed to make it a bit more workable just not put the time into it. when I get the time ill do some trees for lrp and see how it goes whether my heart is in it or not.

Hey,
It's sad to know about the different factors that made you kinda gave up on the track.
I Love Lime Rock and would like to propose you my help to finish it and give it a graphic overhaul.
You can see one of my track here:

I think Mitja Bonca can vouch for me than I can lend a hand. ;-)

I hope you will consider my offer.
In the meantime I wish you the best and hope everything is fine for you.

cheers man, all I really wanted was someone to offer to help without caveats. I got busy few weeks of work ahead. so after that id love to get to finish it... so yeah sure lets do it. pixelchaser 2794 is my discord if that easier. trees, grass and vegetation fences and buildings are required. I have designed the main building from picture to scale myself. can you work with this style of my scale drawings?

Yeah no caveats don't worry.
I'm glad you are up for it !
I don't have discord but can install it.
We can see the detail on discord. But I should warn you that I'm french and therefore on France time zone.
I work with 3ds Max but we should have no problem exchanging obj or fbx files.
I already have sets of continental style trees and pines both in single planar for far distance and tri-planar for track side with correct normal direction for better lighting.
Same for grass.
I also have sets of fences that can be adapted easily to fit Lime Rock style.
If your plan for the main building is correct, it should be a formality too. ;-)

ok cool. this time next week, (working everyday till then). ill strip it back to a max 2017 model we can both work with.. I have a slightly different way of working with textures and 3dgrass. and id like to implement that, it looks like this on a little texture test area im working on and should be good for LRP too I reckon..

No problem, if I see things I think would look or work best differently I will suggest it, but it's your track, you choose what you feel it's best. ;)
I started working on the main building.
I will be busy too, but might be done next week.
I will install discord tonight.

yes please do feedback. im happy to create the generically good track just like kunos style etc. but i do want to try new things with the grass and trees. but that can be for an update once its done... its best to just get this done with the usuall styles. y shape trees and 2d plane grass. Personally im always trying to push things further which i will stop for now but plenty tricks up my sleeve :) now.

the building is technically correct as far as i can tell but itll need sized on the fly... (i dont consider it super important) best scale drawing job i ever did from internet pictures tbh.

i have other projects in the mix if anyone is interested... the kind that really need multiple people working on them.,.... because they are so big. for another thread. but something like this with a few working on it could be fantastic i think in a rather forza horizon like way  after LRP of course but what say you ? and mitja too ?

that took about 7 days to make. just needs A class road networks between the 3 intersections. its 12 km long and the file and processing expense is 1/4 of your average kunos track :) not that huge really when you use tricks everywhere to conceal or maintain details. with a few working on such a project with premade texture content it take same time as a normal track I reckon if not half the time.
