Not much progress to report for now. The reference photo and video are good, so the plan is to make a new test version with added profile on the straight and slightly modified turn on the long loop.

Why it hasn't happened yet ? Well, I have registered for a Blancpain GT3 league and I'm preparing to take part in the first race this coming Thu. Therefore some time went into practice instead of modelling .

Long time no talk. How is the progress going?

Annoyingly annoying . I seem to not have kept the correct bezier for the additional loop, so modifying that turn takes longer since I had to redo a lot of the stuff. That is a boring job, and feels like forcing yourself to eat after having a good meal already . That being said, I should have a new test version in a couple of days.

For those watching this thread, please just a bit more patience. I wanted to get a new version out last week, but life has priority . Let's set a new target: end of this week (..unless Kunos releases AC2 on Wed ).

So, working on modifying the turn in question. While waiting for upload, you can see the modification below. Will definitely be waiting for feedback before doing anything else. Personally, I don't really like it. I mean, I have spent a lot of hours calculating the measures from the plan, aligning turns and cambers and now it is basically eyeballing from a GE image (..which who knows how deformed it is..).

BUT, if you guys, with the real-track experience say it is better, I will comply..

On a side note, it is highly possible that I'll be there on Apr-28th, during the track day . It'll be a good occasion to get some additional references.

I must say that having direct feedback from people that know it is very motivating . I'm just lacking bit of time again, but it's temporary. I really want to get back on this, it's a fun project.

No . There will also be a historic race but the rest of the day is for the regulars

It's looking good atm. There are some details that should be added (like the boards with the speed, or distance at the end of the straight), the apexes.
